Learn about Astrology

The following are some resources I have found useful for learning more about astrology. Keep in mind with any astrological descriptions, you are the best authority on you life. If something doesn’t feel right, is overly judgmental, or makes you feel bad about yourself, let it go or rewrite it so that it’s a better reflection of your truth. Also, I have found in my experience and for clients that it’s best to wait a couple months after you’ve met a romantic interest to check out your astrology with one another. Enjoy the process of getting to know each other from the heart instead of getting overly analytical/strategic. (later on objective information about compatibility can be REALLY useful, and I and these sites will always be there for you)

Best beginning books:
The Inner Sky, by Steven Forrest
Making the Gods Work for You, Caroline Casey

Some great astrology podcasts on various topics, including one by yours truly, are available here

Cafe Astrology is a fun site to explore, especially for the beginning student.

For the more intermediate/advanced student
I suggest delving into Robert Wilkinson’s blog, Aquarius Papers. It’s like rich chocolate cake, you may only need a little bit at a time. He posts almost every day, so check back often for his abundant astro wisdom.

For a more mainstream, yet potentially accurate monthly astrology forecast, I suggest astrologyzone. It’s kind of like Subway, the fast food it’s okay to eat once in a while. Keep in mind, though, that because it’s a superficial cut, you will most like find yourself itching for more, just like sometimes there’s no substitute for a homemade meal.
