Stars By Liz 6/1-6/15: Stories that Speak for Themselves

Monday, June 2nd, 2008

flickrOverview: The first two weeks of June gets off to a mellow start. Enjoy connecting with old friends, witty conversations, and writing and research with Mercury retrograde. It’s time to process what has been a fairly turbulent and emotional start to spring for many.

6/1-6/2…June starts out with a mellow Sunday 6/1; take some time to work in the garden and get outside. 6/2 may bring some needed integration and opportunity for synthesizing your past with your future.

Gemini New Moon 6/3: The Circus Comes to Town…Set an intention to release patterns of over stimulation and stories you tell yourself and others that aren’t true. Where would you like to invite in more options in your life? The twins may be showing their mischievous streak for this new moon. Hopefully you all have extra keys for your cars and homes stored in accessible places. But even if you don’t or else get mixed up some other way, realize that you’ll end up with a good story. Pay attention to new and unexpected situations you end up in. Get very curious, as conversations had during these adventures could reveal options and possibilities that your mind was closed down to before. Psychic and telepathic communication will probably be fairly strong. This is a great time for journaling and writing. And keep in mind, if all else fails, just keep talking.

Fake it till you Make it 6/4…Energy and confidence will probably be fairly high today. Do something you need to do but have been putting off because of feelings of intimidation or insecurity.

6/5-6/6 True colors…Yesterday’s groove may hit some bumps today. Keep in mind that whatever time frame you might have committed to recently may be a tad unrealistic. Avoid a power struggle by being clear with your boundaries and making needed adjustments.

Smooth Operator 6/7-9 There’ll be no shortage of words and interesting conversations to attend to. Immerse yourself in healing information to avoid feeling scattered. Explore the options now available to you, and express and communicate about what you hold dear.

6/10 is a busy day, and asks us to make sure we are coming clean with promises we have made, particularly in work relationships. Don’t believe everything that you hear, but mean everything that you say.
6/11 may find us needing to make compromises and adjusting any unrealistic expectations

I didn’t know you felt that way 6/12…The universe has some surprises from way out in left field today. Watch for slips of the tongue that communicate how you really feel. Does the story you tell match the truth of your heart?

6/13 Remnants of the past….Pluto heads back in to Sagittarius today, where it will stay until fully moving in to Capricorn around Thanksgiving. From now until then we are given another chance to communicate with the galactic center. What spiritual strength in you has matured enough to move into the next level of manifestation on the earth and support you in practical everyday life?

6/14-6/15 ….Go with the flow and reap insight and inspiration on 6/14. Time to utilize the lessons learned from your past in the actions of 6/15. No need to dramatize what you already know to be true. Address any inefficiency that surfaces around your physical and psychic resources.

Pluto into Capricorn..taking stewardship to the next level

Friday, May 2nd, 2008

Greetings dear readers,
So there is plenty of doom and gloom about Pluto in Capricorn, and I wanted to share an inspiring note on some legislation in Vermont.

Pluto rules changes, and Capricorn is an earth steward. It also tends towards values and ideas that have withstood the test of time.

So, S44 is a bill that would create a common assets trust fund to protect natural resources in Vermont. In the bill, which you can read here
they make clear that it is state policy to protect common assets.
The way it would work is: “users of… common assets may be assessed fees that would be deposited into a common assets trust fund, which would be managed so as to protect those assets and serve the interests of present and future people of the state.”

How elegantly practical and traditional in all the right ways. My favorite part of the bill, so exquisitely Capricornian in its harkening to the values that funded the basis of western civilization:
…”The public trust doctrine, which dates back to Roman civil law…assured the citizens of Rome that ‘By the law of nature these things are common to all mankind – the air, running water, the sea, and consequently the shore of the sea. No one, therefore is forbidden to approach the seashore, provided that he respects habitations, monuments, and the buildings, which are not, like the sea, subject only to the law of nations.’ ”

Did I mention that Capricorn is the sea-goat, uniting feminine consciousness with the earthly plane? Here’s to practical responses to our current challenges that incorporate values which have withstood the test of time, the one test that Capricorn truly respects.
